Welcome twentytwo!!

Happy birthday to me...... ^o^//

Yaayy...thanks God for giving me opportunities that I can still breath in Your oxygen and I live in this world still. Within many greatness and challenges You've given to me in my whole life, I could not say more, except Alhamdulillahi robbil'alamiin... O:)

Yesterday, my age turns into 22 years old..wooww..i'm so young still, aren't I? :D And again, I praise God that yesterday, I had a tremendous day. I got surprises from my beloved-friends, those were remarkable indeed.

I was in contract to teach TOEFL for teachers in SMP N 1 Ungaran. Yesterday was the last meeting that we only had the test. There were eight of us, Cik Enny, Mas Riko, Mba Lia, Amel, Mas Moritz, Mas Robert, Mas Umam and I, joined in the project. I thought it was just cool that only mas Riko knew that it was my birthday. We finished the test and prepared to go home. When, we're in parking area, Cik Enny asked me to talk to her for a while. Okay, I joined her without any suspicion. However, turned out that it went wrong. I was showered by flour and water from behind. What the heck!! I looked like a cake dough at that time. My hair, body turned covered by flours. Looked like 30 years older!! O_o"

Nevertheless, what they did was so sweet and remarkable! I didn't think that I would get that surprise. What a treatment!! At last, everyone was all poured by flour. Otherwise, the funny part was when the security was mad at us!! He demanded us to clean out the flour by water. Haha... Finally, we all went home. Thanks for making my day, dear friends...

I got another surprise at night. At noon, earlier, Catung, one of my best friends texted me that he's going to my house at 10 p.m. I got back from airport at 9.40 p.m. In fact, I got a very bad moment on airport.. :(( hufft..just skip it! Later, Catung arrived in my house few minutes after I texted him. He came in my house, bringing a white rose. Xoxo..that was so sweet, indeed. And that's it! I thought he's alone coming to my house. However, turned out that Ipul was coming then. Whoooaa...i was surprised!! Ipul is one of my best friends as well. He just arrived from Italy 2 weeks ago, and I haven't met him yet after few months he went abroad. Ipul and I sometimes hang out together, sharing experiences. Hohooo...they successfully surprised me :))

My birthday, this year was so remarkable..!! However, there is a person whom I've been waiting for his greeting, doesn't even say a word to me.. Well, that's so disappointing, indeed!
Unless, you could feel what I am feeling now, I do really wish that you end this game soon!! However, I thank God still for giving me a lot of affectionate friends. Thanks for all your greetings and wishes...

In this older age, I do hope that I can be stronger facing my future. I can be firm and wise enough to decide where my steps are going. Please, guide me as always dear God!! :))

Pre-Madness Syndromes

"Baby, why didn't you return my calls?? Where have you been? Don't you know that I worried bout you....!!"

Yeah, it probably belongs to a part of convo, a girl was demanding her bf to confirm. She was so worried and emotionally asking her bf for his explanation. Due to the bad situations, their mood swings or business among them, they felt upset and finally mad at each others.

There's a moment when everybody has a really bad feeling for their business, problems and has full activities during the days, then it may affect on their attitudes towards other persons. Perhaps, it's only a matter of misunderstanding or miscommunication. They feel so burdened so that they don't feel like talking to others.

I have experienced the same problem as well. Due to a lot of thoughts and tasks to do among us, my bf and I emotionally were fighting. As a girl, I realize myself that I have a certain period when I feel so dropped, sensitive and distressed even though there is no problems during the days. It happens to me every month, couple weeks before the "red-day". At first, I didn't consider it. Yet, it's getting worse few months lately, I started to remark the time and try to control my self. That was so called "Premenstrual Syndrome". Since I am a bit bothered by this habit, I searched for its explanation. Here it is...

Premenstrual syndrome occurs during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. This phase occurs immediately after an egg is released from the ovary and lasts from day 14 through day 28 of a normal menstrual cycle (day 1 is the day your period begins).
During the luteal phase, hormones from the ovary cause the lining of the uterus to grow thick and spongy. At the same time, an egg is released from the ovary. If the egg meets sperm, it may implant in the lining of the uterus and grow. At this time, the level of a hormone called progesterone rises in the body, while the level of another hormone, esterogen, begins to drop. The shift from estrogen to progesterone may cause some of the symptoms of PMS.
  • Some medical professionals believed that changing progesterone levels alone could account for a woman’s mood, behavior, and physical changes during the luteal phase (or second half) of the menstrual cycle.
  • Women develop deficiencies in a part of their nervous system called the endorphin (feel good hormones) system. A small amount of these "feel good" endorphins usually circulate in the body, but these levels drop during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle.
  • Fluid overload may cause some of the symptoms of PMS, especially swelling and weight gain, and may also aggravate some negative self perceptions and thus worsen emotional symptoms at this stage
  • Diet may also be a factor in PMS. Episodes of low blood sugar may contribute to both crying spells and the irritability that are part of PMS. Additionally, low levels of vitamin A, vitamin B6, and vitamin E may play a role in PMS.
  • Hormonal cycling also affects the level of serotonin, a brain chemical that regulates many functions, including mood and sensitivity to pain.
  • Prostaglandins, produced by the areas where PMS symptoms originate, which may play a role in problems such as cramping, breast tenderness, gas, diarrhea , and constipation.
  • Family history is often a good predictor of the probability of premenstrual syndrome; studies have found that the concordance rate is two times higher among identical twins compared with fraternal twins. Thus, when one twin has PMS, the other one could also has one.
  • Stress may precipitate condition and Increasing age
Ahh..yeaahh..they obviously make sense. There are many of chemical process in our body. It relates and affects on each others. However, I looked for the prevention treatment as well. Hope this is fruitful...

We may need to try different medications before you find one that works. Medicines may not completely relieve all the symptoms, and they are not always necessary. Lifestyle changes can probably help.

Changes in diet and exercise are usually recommended first. Eat a well-balanced diet and avoid salt, candy, and sugary foods during the week before your period. While it may also help to avoid caffeine, going on and off caffeine during the month may be difficult. You may have to cut out caffeine completely if it seems to contribute to your symptoms. Small, frequent meals during the premenstrual week may help keeping blood sugar at a steady level and reduce cravings. Keeping a consistent exercise program may also improve your well0being throughout the menstrual cycle.

The last but not least, try to maintain our communication to God. Whenever and however we feel so down, run into Allah SWT, the one and only to complain. Ask for HIS guidance and protection so that we will always be under-controlled.

As for someone who might be one of my victims due to PMS..I ask for your tolerance.

Welcome (again) October!!

Weww...here we go.. Another October has come... Means that I am going to get older this month..!! O_o

Hmm..not that exciting actually. However, I just wanna recall what I did during my age of 21. I recall that last year --I could say-- I was pretty productive with all activities last year. Unlike in this year, I don't really have a "thing" to show. Well, let's skip it!!

In October, this year, even though it is still in the beginning days, there were some unpredictable events happened.
- October 1st, it is World's Vegetarian Day. Well, when I was in the third grade of Senior High School, I tried to be a vegan, pescetarian indeed. I didn't eat animal's product, yet I ate fish still. At that time, I feel so healthy. My body was lighter and my skin seemed so pretty as well. Yet, this habit only last until my first year in college. I don't know whether it will have an utmost affect on my body, because now, I don't feel as healthy as former. Thus, realizing that on the first day of my month is World's Vegetarian Day, I am going to try that diet again. Hope things run well... ;))

- October 5th 2011, world has just lost a genius man with incredible thoughts, Steve Paul Jobs. Everyone should have known him as a co-founder of Apple Inc. who invented several gadgets that make our life easier. He passed away after a long battle with his pancreas cancer. People, now, will always remember him as a hero for his inventions that making life easier. I couldn't afford to buy one of his invention, though. Nevertheless, I'd like to show my deepest condolences for his death. May he rest in peace.

- October 7th, it is Jogjakarta's birthday. I'd like to say Happy BIRTHDAY to JOGJAKARTA. A nice and lovely city. This always happens every year, yet I just knew it lately. Hmm..how don't I know about it from the beginning, whereas I really love living in Jogjakarta. May I have a chance to have a small house and spend my life with my spouse in this city, later when I am old. :)

Well, October will still have 3 weeks to go. Also, in this month, I will newly play a role as a temporary teacher. This is gonna be a brand new experience for me... be nice to me, Octy... :))

Sing it along...

The title is so damn right..!!
Some people do love a song, sing it along, since it reflects exactly on their mind. Their feeling..
So do I. Instead of its catchy lyrics, easy listening melodies, this song is just so right. I love this song..I love Budi Do Re Mi, for making this song.. <3 <3
