I had a lecture with  Prof. Mundahardjito yesterday. He gave us some sophisticated words for culture:

Culture is uniquely human, 

Culture is learned,

Culture is social, 

Culture is shared, 

Culture is patterned, 

Culture is a system, 

Culture is man's adaptive means/system

Those are the reasons why we have to respect our culture, the ancestor's  heritages.
